Beginners Oil Painting Workshops in NW Calgary

Learn to paint in oils at Grasby Art Studio's beginner workshop series. Each course is four weekly 3-hour workshops, with demonstrations at every level. Choose daytime classes (Fridays or Sundays) or the new Tuesday evening class.

The beginner workshops are hosted by artist McCrory Skuce, a graduate of AUArts (Alberta University of the Arts).

Levels 5-8 run in between the Levels 1-4 series, so you can continue straight from one course into the next.

Every course runs four consecutive weeks — no sessions fall on holiday weekends.

$380 per four-workshop course.

How to Register

1. Pick your Course — Course I (Levels 1–4) if you are starting out, Course II (Levels 5–8) to carry on from Course I.
2. Pick your Dates & Times — each course is four weekly workshops, Fridays, Sundays, or Tuesday evenings.
3. Add to cart. No experience needed for Course I.
