BEGINNERS ACRYLIC PAINTING COURSE 1 - Levels 1-4

Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary, Bowness, offers an excellent acrylic painting course designed for beginners.    Beginners Acrylic Course 1 consists of four classes, each covering a key aspect of acrylic painting.   Designed with flexibility in mind, you can choose to attend individual classes or complete the entire series for a well-rounded foundation in acrylic painting. This course is perfect for those eager to build essential skills step-by-step.

Level 3 - Sept 21 - Dry Techniques

Level 4 - Sept 28 - Mixed Wet and Dry Techniques

Level 1, Nov 2  - Colour Theory and Colour Mixing

Level 2  Nov 9 - Wet Techniques

Level 3  Nov 16 - Dry Techniques

Level 4 Nov 23 - Mixed Techniques

In course 1, students will complete a variety of small paintings and exercises designed to practice new skills and techniques.  

EACH CLASS IS 3 HOURS: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

COST per CLASS: $95 per class

MATERIALS:  A basic kit is required (Beginners Acrylic Supply Kit).  The kit contains Phthalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Quinacridone Red, Titanium White, and Black acrylic paint, as well as, a small palette knife, a palette paper pad,  flat or filbert brushes, and a 1 script or rigger brush.  The kit is available for purchase online, or at the desk on workshop day.

All supports and other supplies will be provided.
