BEGINNERS ACRYLIC PAINTING COURSE 1 - Levels 1-4

Don't mess around.  Learn to paint at NW Calgary's largest private art school.  Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary, Bowness, offers an excellent acrylic painting course designed for beginners.  Work through levels 1 through 8 and achieve the results you are looking for.  This program is divided into two courses, namely course 1 (levels 1-4) and course 2 (levels 5-8).  Course 1 consists of four classes, each covering a key acrylic painting skill. You can join individual classes or complete all four for a full learning experience. The course covers essential topics such as color theory, color mixing, acrylic tools, and both wet and dry painting techniques, including mixed acrylic methods. This is a perfect opportunity to build a strong foundation in acrylic painting.  In beginners course 1 you will complete a variety of small paintings and exercises designed to practice skills.

Beginners Course 1 - Sept 7,14,21,28  or Nov 2,9,16,23

EACH CLASS IS 3 HOURS: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

COST per CLASS: $95 per class, $380 for the course 

MATERIALS:  A basic kit is required.  Phthalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Quinacridone Red, Titanium White, Black.  Small palette knife, palette paper pad.  Flats or filbert brushes. 1 script or rigger brush.  The kit is available for purchase at the desk on workshop day.
