GRASBY ART INSTRUCTION
BEGINNERS ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOPS CALGARY | Levels 5-8
BEGINNERS ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOPS CALGARY | Levels 5-8
Go beyond the basics with beginner levels 5-8. These workshops suit beginners who have completed Levels 1-4 or have learned some basic acrylic techniques. Levels 5-8 build on the wet, dry and mixed techniques from Levels 1-4 while introducing methods used to render specific subjects: landscapes, skies, floral, still life, animals and buildings. Take only the levels whose subjects interest you, or take all four for a well-rounded technique base — each level deepens your understanding, expands your techniques and builds your confidence.
What You'll Learn
- Colour theory and colour mixing techniques
- Mark-making and layering techniques specific to each subject
- Proper brush handling and palette management
- Art fundamentals: form, composition, perspective, focal area, value balance, colour and mark harmony
