Waterfall Painting Workshop

Join our progressive waterfall workshops series. In these workshops you will:

CREATE a compelling waterfall composition
PLAN your colour palette - realistic or impressionistic
PAINT rock, water, and plant texture with brush and palette knife
CREATE impasto texture in your work

April 21, 28, May 5, 9-12pm
A basic kit is required

TAKE part 1, and/or 2, and/or 3. Progress at your own pace!

PART 1 - Composition

In part 1, you will create an effective underpainting and composition for your piece. You will learn to draw rocky forms and use perspective, and value to create a focal area.

PART 2 - Rock & Water Texture

In part 2, you will learn methods to paint water and rock texture. you bring detail into the painting; adding colour and vegetation into the composition. You will balance your values, stregthen your focal area, and create colour harmony.

PART 3 - Detail

If necessary, you may attend our open studio hours at a rate of 22/hour to finish any additional details.
