WORKSHOPS - IMPASTO

Join us to create an impasto painting of poppies in acrylic paint.  We will learn a process to successfully integrate and layer paint, pastes, and gels into our project to create texture.  In part 1 we will create a winning composition and establish the underpainting and background in preparation for textured layers.  In part 2 we will learn how to use our paint, pastes, gels, and tools to create our first layer of texture.  In part 3 we will add a second layer of texture and detail to draw attention to important forms and focal area.
