Cool and confident, Slate is a strong grey with blue undertones. It pairs effortlessly with whites for a clean, contemporary look or with woods and metals for industrial chic. Slate provides balance and structure—a steady backdrop for modern living.
1. Prepare the Surface
Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or peeling paint.
Fill any cracks or holes with filler, then sand smooth.
For best results, apply to properly primed surfaces.
2. Stir Thoroughly
Stir paint well before and during use to ensure even pigment distribution.
3. Application Tools
Apply with a high-quality synthetic brush, roller, or sprayer.
Use a roller with a 10–15mm nap for most walls; adjust for texture as needed.
4. Apply Evenly
Work in sections, maintaining a “wet edge” to avoid lap marks.
Two coats are recommended for optimal colour richness and durability.
5. Drying Time
Touch dry in 30–60 minutes.
Recoat after 2–4 hours. (Drying times may vary depending on temperature and humidity.)
6. Clean Up
Clean brushes, rollers, and tools immediately with warm soapy water.
Seal container tightly when not in use.
7. Finish & Care
The matte finish is durable, low-sheen, and washable once fully cured (approx. 7 days).
Clean painted surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasives.
