Imagine spending a relaxed morning in a warm, light-filled studio — brush in hand, learning to capture the shimmer of water and the texture of stone on canvas. That is exactly what awaits you in our Rocks & Water painting workshops.

These sessions are designed to help you master two of the most rewarding landscape elements — whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or refining an existing practice.

What You'll Learn

• Painting rock form, weight and surface texture
• Moving water — flow, transparency and reflection
• Building depth with colour temperature and value
• Composing a scene with a clear focal area

Fall 2026 Dates

Two series run this fall — choose whichever suits your schedule.

• Saturdays · 1:00 – 4:00 PM — October 3, 17, 24 & 31, 2026
• Wednesdays · 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM — November 25, December 2, 9 & 16, 2026

No class Saturday October 10 (Thanksgiving weekend).

Cost

• $95 — single workshop
• $380 — full four-workshop series

Working with Teresa

These intermediate workshops are led by studio founder Teresa Grasby. Teresa takes on the subjects artists find most challenging and shares the efficient process she has developed for them, worked in a loose, expressive style. Most artists use the four sessions to build one large-format canvas — a finished feature wall painting to take home.
