• Level 1 | Colour Theory, Mixing & Palette Management — mix any colour with confidence and set up your palette like an artist.
• Level 2 | Wet Techniques — master luminous wet-in-wet washes, soft blends, and glowing skies.
• Level 3 | Dry Techniques — build crisp detail, texture, and control with drybrush and layering.
• Level 4 | Mixed Techniques — combine everything into one finished painting you'll be proud of.

Fall courses begin Friday Sept 4 and Sunday Sept 6. Classes are small and semi-private, so seats are limited — reserve your spot today.

Levels 1-4 (choose Fridays or Sundays):

• Fridays | Sept 4-11-18-25, or Oct 30-Nov 6-13-20
• Sundays | Sept 6-13-20-27, or Nov 8-15-22-29

Levels 5-8 — runs in between, so you can continue straight from Course I into Course II:

• Fridays | Oct 2-9-16-23, or Nov 27-Dec 4-11-18
• Sundays | Oct 4-18-25-Nov 1, or Dec 6-13-20-27

Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm | Studio A

No class Sunday Oct 11 (Thanksgiving weekend) or Friday Dec 25 (Christmas Day).

Grasby Art Studio A, 6520 Bowness Road NW, Calgary. Free street parking (no 2-hour enforcement) plus 5 fenced alley stalls.

Supplies

A Beginners Watercolour Starter Kit is required for this course. The full kit or individual supplies are available for purchase at the front desk on workshop day, or you can buy your kit online ahead of time. The kit includes a #10 or 12 round, a 3/4" flat, and a script brush, a palette, plus three primary colours: Cadmium Yellow, Quinacridone Red, and Phthalocyanine Blue.

$380 per 4-workshop course.
