Submission Guidelines - Grasby Art Studio Fall Show and SALE

We welcome submissions from all artists who have participated in Grasby Art Studio Classes & Workshops to participate in our upcoming annual show entitled - Grasby Art Studio Fall Show and Sale. 

Please review the following guidelines before submitting your portfolio:

Exhibition Details

  • Initial Evening Art Celebration is Saturday Nov 1, 6-9pm. 
  • The Show will be held both upstairs and downstairs -  in the main studio, the Art Garden, and the Art Cellar
  • The exhibit will include the work of our entire art community: children, teens, and adult artists.
  • The exhibit will include artwork that is for show or for sale.
  • Extended Exhibit: The Art Cellar Gallery show will be curated and hang until January 15, 2026.  
  • Weekend Exhibit: The Art Garden and the Main Studio will exhibit work the weekend of Nov 1 and 2 only.
  • Commission: All Gallery sales are subject to commission -  30% of sales

Eligibility

  • Open to the artists of Grasby Art Studio.  Any artist who has participated - past and present.

Submission Requirements

  • Involvement: Describe the year(s) of participation at the art studio and the type of activity (i.e. Monthly Teen Classes, Mountain Palette Knife Workshops, Mothers Day Event, Action Art, Paint Night etc.).
  • Portfolio: Submit digital images of your work that you would like to be considered for the show (JPEG format, 300 DPI minimum).  These can include works created at Grasby Art in classes, workshops, paint nights, action art or in your home studio.
  • List of Artwork details: For each submission please list the following: Artist name, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Price or NFS (not for sale), Is the artwork (R) ready to hang or be presented on an (E) easel?  Children and Teens may choose to include their age as well.

  • Subject line: "Gallery Submission - [Your Name]"
  • Include all your contact information and whether the artist is  

Exhibition Details

  • Art Cellar curated exhibition duration: 6 weeks
  • Art Studio and Art Garden exhibition duration: Nov 1 and 2 only
  • Commission: Gallery takes 30% of sales
  • A $50 registration fee is required for admission to the curated show that will hang until January 15th.  The fee can be paid once confirmation is given.

Timeline

  • Submissions reviewed immediately
  • Artists will be notified around October 18 via email which pieces to bring in for the show.  
  • A registration fee of 50.00 is requested for artists wanting to participate in the evening of art and music Nov 1st 6-9pm and inclusion in the curated Art Cellar Gallery Show and Sale.  The fee is payable when the artwork is submitted.
