DRAWING FROM LIFE at Grasby's Art Cellar

Join our Drawing from Life Classes at NW Calgary's private art school.  Immerse yourself in the rewarding experience of drawing directly from real-life subjects. This membership offers you access to a creative space where you can develop your observational skills and artistic techniques under the supportive guidance of an instructor.  Our Art Cellar Studio has drawing stations already set up with easels, and drawing boards.  In addition our subject is staged and professionally illuminated.   Whether you’re sketching still life, costume models, or the nude human figure, you’ll gain confidence and deepen your connection to the art of drawing.

At Grasby's Drawing From Life classes, you will:

• LEARN strategies to improve drawing accuracy

Cost : 

$250 / 10 times drop-in pass ($25/class), 

or $30 single drop-in

Supplies:  A basic minimum kit is required (paper and charcoal).  Our boards will support 24 x 36" format or smaller.

Other dry mediums like charcoal powder, willow charcoal, chalk pastels, conte, white and black charcoal pencils, erasers) or wet mediums (oil, acrylic, or watercolour) are readily available at the studio should you need to purchase supplies.
