Discover the secrets to capturing water's ethereal beauty in these hands-on painting workshops at Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary. Whether you're painting serene lakes, flowing streams, or dramatic ocean waves, you'll learn professional techniques to bring aquatic scenes to life on canvas.  The demonstrations will be done for watercolour and adaptations demonstrated for those using acrylic or oil.

Perfect For

Artists who want to master painting scenes featuring water in watercolour. This series of workshops provides step-by-step guidance in a supportive, creative environment where you'll practice techniques and complete your own paintings.  Each week one painting will be completed featuring one aspect of water.

Supplies:  A basic supply kit in either watercolour, acrylic or oil is required for this class.  Starter kits are sold in our store and online.

Location: Grasby Art Studio, NW Calgary (Bowness area)
Duration: Each workshop session is 3 hours with hands-on practice time

Dates:  Saturday afternoons in January, 1:00 to 4:00pm

Cost:  $95.00 per workshop.  4 workshop dates are allotted to the reflections and water theme.  These can be used to pursue water in its various states or to produce a large work of art to a high standard of care.
