BEGINNERS WATERCOLOUR PAINTING COURSE 2 - Levels 5-8

Grasby Art Studio, in NW Calgary, hosts an excellent beginners watercolour painting course this fall 2025.  Course 2 is intended for beginners with some experience with tools, paint application, and colour mixing or those students who have completed course 1.
 

 
Course 2 allows beginners to apply wet, dry and damp techniques to the creation of 3 hour watercolour projects.  Each class will feature the planning and execution of one project.  The projects are designed to familiarize participants with the planning, preparation, timing, and layering of watercolour techniques to give a finished result.

EACH CLASS IS 3 HOURS:  9:00am - 12:00pm


COST per 3 hour CLASS: $95 ($380 for each course)


MATERIALS:  A beginners kit is required of 3 primaries (Quinacridone Red, Cadmium Yellow, Phthalocyanine Blue), Round brush size 10 or 12.  Should you need any supplies, a variety of beginners watercolour kits will be available at the desk on workshop day.Start your journey as a watercolourist with us.
