BEGINNERS ACRYLIC PAINTING COURSE 2 - Levels 5-8

Continue to develop your skills in acrylic painting.  Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary, Bowness, offers an excellent acrylic painting course designed for beginners who have some exposure to colour mixing, tool management, and basic techniques (Course 1 or equivalent).  In beginners course 2 you will complete a series of 3 hour paintings where you will learn painting process and layering to create a finished work of art.

EACH CLASS IS 3 HOURS: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

COST per CLASS: $95 per class, $380 for the course

MATERIALS:  A basic kit is required.  Phthalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Quinacridone Red, Titanium White, Black.  Small palette knife, palette paper pad.  Flats or filbert brushes. 1 script or rigger brush.  The kit is available for purchase at the desk on workshop day.

Each class involves the execution of one acrylic painting over the three hours.  Each project demonstrates the process, planning, and execution of specific techniques.
