Mixed Media Painting Course

Join our mixed media workshops focusing on faces and figures. In these workshops you will:

LEARN to layer art mediums including oil paint, ink, pen, and paper into a work of art.
DISCOVER a drawing system for laying out your composition.
DEVELOP your knowledge of mixed media mediums and techniques.
CREATE a piece of art focusing on a human or animal figure or face of your choosing.

TAKE part 1, and/or 2, and/or 3. Progress at your own pace!

PART 1 - Composition

In part 1, you will create an effective underpainting and composition for your piece. You will create a plan to incorporate different mediums into your piece.

PART 2 - Mixed Media

In part 2, you will work through the process of layering wet and dry mediums, papers and pens.

PART 3 - Detail

In part 3, you will incorporate finishing details into your piece.
