BEGINNERS WATERCOLOUR PAINTING COURSE CALGARY - Levels 1,2,3,4

Grasby Art Studio in NW Calgary, offers a fabulous watercolour painting course for beginners three times yearly.  The course is comprised of 4 classes featuring different fundamentals of watercolour painting.  You may take them individually or as a comprehensive painting course.  The watercolour painting course includes discussion of colour theory, colour mixing, watercolour painting tools, wet, dry, and mixed watercolour painting techniques.  

UPCOMING DATES:  June 1, 8, 15, 22 2025, June 1 colour mixing is FULL.

EACH CLASS IS 3 HOURS:  9:00am - 12:00pm

COST per 3 hour CLASS: $95,  $380 +gst for the course

MATERIALS:  A beginners kit is required of 3 primaries (Quinacridone Red, Cadmium Yellow, Phthalocyanine Blue), Round brush size 10 or 12.  Should you need any supplies, a variety of beginners watercolour kits will be available at the desk on workshop day.

Each class deals with one fundamental skill in watercolour

CLASS 3 - Dry Techniques

CLASS 4 - Combined Techniques
