Join our waterfall painting workshop series. In these workshops you will:

DESIGN a compelling composition featuring rocks, flowing water, and trees
CREATE a large feature wall painting
PLAN your colour palette - realistic or impressionistic
PAINT rock, water, and tree forms and textures
LEARN techniques to create rock texture, water flow & transparency.

A basic kit is required

Take part 1 through 4 to create a large feature wall painting.

PART 1 - Composition & Rock Texture

In part 1, you will create an effective underpainting and composition for your piece. You will learn to draw rocky forms and use perspective, and value to create a focal area.

PART 2 - Rock Texture II & Water Flow I

In part 2, you will learn methods to paint rock texture.

Creating flow lines and water transparency. Layering warm and cold whites, fat over lean.

PART 4 - Detail

Adding vegetation, rock details and sunlight.
