BEGINNERS WATERCOLOUR PAINTING COURSE 1 & COURSE 2

Join our watercolour painting course for beginners. The course is comprised of 7 independant classes that cover different aspects of watercolour painting. The course is modular, you may take the classes of interest or take all of them as a comprehensive watercolour course. In this course you will:

LEARN colour theory for watercolour
PRACTICE value studies and excercises
DISCOVER an effective watercolour mixing method
DEVELOP watercolour painting skills
EXPERIMENT with wet, dry, and resist watercolour painting techniques
CREATE a series of small watercolour paintings
MEET other developing watercolour artists

Start your journey as a watercolourist! You may take individual classes or the whole course.

Class 1 - Colour Theory & Mixing

In level 1 you will learn about the watercolour paints, tools, mediums, and the supports available to watercolourists. You will also come to understand colour theory, and learn an effective colour mixing method.

Class 2 - Techniques I

In level 2 you will learn how to use a variety of wet watercolour techniques to create a series of small paintings. You will learn how to use your tools to create textures and values in watercolour.
