Four dates are allotted to mountain knife painting. Choose the dates that work for your schedule. Four dates are recommended for large work.
In part 1, you will create an effective underpainting and composition for your piece. You will distinguish the shadows from the light.
In part 2, you will develop your midtones and use your knives to create rock and snow textures.
In part 3, you will focus on your highlights and adding details including clouds, trees, reflections and more.

In part 4, you will balance your tones and values and continue to pursue finishing details.
If you should need more time to complete your project, you may attend on March 30th or any of our open studio hours.
