Since 2011, the Grasby Art Studio has offered quality art education to kids and teens throughout the summer.  Our program appeals to young artists who are passionate about creating art.   The students receive encouragement, personalized instruction, and mentorship from our talented staff.   The focus of our program is on skill building, specifically sharing drawing and painting techniques.   All supplies and art mediums are included. Wet mediums are available including acrylic, watercolour, and oil paints; and dry mediums included are charcoal, graphite, pen, markers, and chalk pastel.  The art projects will include a combination of student personal projects and instructor demonstrations.  At Grasby's the artists are encouraged to attain a high standard of care in their work.

Are the supplies included?

Yes, all art supplies are included!

What should the student wear?

We recommend clothes you don't mind getting paint on! We also provide aprons.

Should we bring a lunch/ snack?

Yes! Half-Day campers should pack a snack. Full-Day campers should pack a lunch and optional snack. All students should bring a water bottle!

What will they learn?

We teach technical skills in drawing and painting. Projects are in acrylic, watercolour, chalk pastel, charcoal, and more!
